A new lounge experience for Broome Cruise Passengers

Broome International Airport is proud to welcome guests to its brand-new Cruise lounge, a unique offering to enhance the travel experience for passengers disembarking from Kimberley Expedition cruises.
With the lounge being the only service of its kind in Australia, the Cruise lounge provides a relaxing and comfortable space for cruise passengers transferring directly from Broome Port to the airport for their flights home.
Broome International Airport CEO Craig Shaw said the idea stemmed from wanting to make the airport experience as memorable as the journey itself.
“Seeing large numbers of passengers dropped off at the airport, fresh off a wonderful experience along the Kimberley coast, made us think about how we could enhance their experience. The lounge offers a comfortable setting and a seamless check-in for groups flying with Qantas and Virgin,” said Mr Shaw.
Australian Cruise Association CEO, Jill Abel, welcomed the new addition noting that it’s the first of its kind concept in Australia.
As expedition cruising continues to grow, the cruise lounge sets a new bench mark for passenger comfort and convenience – and reflects the airport’s commitment to delivering an exceptional travel experience.
